News August 1, 2007 - Patricia Conroy Nominated for "Female Artist of the Year" at the 2007 CCMA AwardsThe 2007 CCMA Awards were announced this morning with Patricia Conroy receiving two nominations. Patricia was nominated for "Female Artist of the Year", as well as "Independent Female Artist of the Year". Last year Patricia was awarded "Independent Female Artist", and things are looking good for her this year as she goes back in with a new album and 2 new singles under her belt. Patricia's latest album "Talking to Myself" hit shelves early this year, and her newest single "Ray of Sun" has been climbing the charts. The 2007 CCMA Awards broadcast will air across Canada on September 10 at 8PM (9pm AST & 9:30pm NF) on CBC TV, with encore airings on CMT Canada, in the U.S. on television network Great American Country (GAC), and in Australia on Country Music Channel (CMC).
