Canadian singer-songwriter Patricia Conroy has been a longtime favourite of music fans both north and south of the border-- and her newest release "Talking to Myself", released earlier this year, has not disappointed them. Her first single from the album, the insightful and provoking title track "Talking to Myself", was well received by fans--and her latest single, the upbeat track "Ray of Sun", has been steadily climbing the charts, promising great things for the new album.

Patricia has hardly had time to enjoy the success of her new album, as she has been very busy songwriting with a number of other artists in Nashville, many of them Canadian. Jason Blaine, Michelle Wright, Lisa Brokop, Deric Ruttan and Gilles Goddard are a few of the fellow Canadians Patricia has been writing with, as well as the lovable Diane Chase, who already has two of Patricia's songs on hold for her next project.

These days Patricia spends her time between Canada and Nashville-- she still holds tight to her Canadian roots, and played a Canada Day show in Nashville this past July 1st, representing the country she was born and raised in. Patricia will be returning to Canada for some August tour dates in Alberta, as well as attending the CCMA's, taking place in Regina this September. "I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone during Country Music week in September" says Patricia, "It's always like a big homecoming." Paticia has currently made it past the second round of CCMA nominations in the categories of "Female Artist of the Year" as well as "Independent Female Artist of the Year."
